This course is suitable for anyone supporting children, young people and / or adults in a low risk education or social care environment.
Course participants will gain an understanding of behaviour as communication as well as develop a greater team dynamic in supporting dysregulated individuals with an approach that strengthens relationships.
As part of this onde day (6 hour) course, participants will learn simple, and safe positive handling techniques as well as personal safety strategies appropriate for a low-risk environment.

Positive Behaviour Management Level 2
This 12 hour course, split over 2 days, is suitable for anyone working with children, young people, or adults with documented special needs or concerning behaviours in a medium-risk education or care environment.
Learners will gain a deeper understanding of the drivers, triggers and motivations of individuals who are dysregulated or distressed. They will also be able to utilize a toolkit of de-escalation strategies and crisis intervention techniques.
Participants will gain knowledge of how to implement simple, safe, positive handling strategies including guiding, personal safety strategies and restrictive interventions suitable to the individuals they support. tw
